Strange things are afoot

The body speaks about emotional states that the mind
cannot  understand

look at my hands and my feet.

It is I myself!
Luke 24:36-43

Bugger, I hadn’t planned on having Jesus open this article, but what the heck, he dropped in unexpectedly,

& besides …

he’s the glue that holds
the Western World in place,

… looking into the things that are said to have happened to, or been initiated by him, may be of benefit in our struggle for ‘clarity’.

By the way …

This article is about feet.

As we’re beginning with Jesus, we’ll start by wondering why our attention was thrice brought to bear upon feet, during the last week of his life.

Scene 1.  Six days before the Last Supper.

Although eyewitness accounts vary, the gist of this first foot-telling proceeds thus;

Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was … whom He had raised from the dead.  There they made Him a supper; and Martha served … Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.”

“the only other place Spikenard is mentioned in the Song of Solomon 1:2; 4:13-14 … in the Song of Songs, as a symbol of the intimate nature of the Bridal love. This is the point at which relations with her beloved are initiated.’

Scene 2. The Last Supper.

And supper being ended … Jesus …  rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself.  After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them …  Then He came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to Him, “Lord, are You washing my feet?

Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this.

Peter said to Him, “You shall never wash my feet!

Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.

Scene 3. “The place of a skull“.

And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: Where they crucified him.”

in medieval texts Jesus is sometimes referred to as the hunted stag whose hoof is stained with blood.

Googling for pictures of Jesus’ feet turned out to be quite traumatic. It shouldn’t have been as I was brought up Catholic & images of JC hanging out on his cross have the uber-familiarity of household furniture.

But scrolling through images of punctured feet was deeply troubling, for you see I have finally been experiencing a deep respect for the foot & in the process, noticing something I never saw;

How the foot has been ‘set up  throughout time, to take the fall.

Nor is it over by any means.

While ancient marketers hammered home the Holey Feet™ brand, modern peddlers have driven down Degeneration Avenue & turned into Depravity Drive for a fetid fetished assault on the sacred foot.  A recent chat with reliable informants has revealed that feet are now hot, very hot

whoops sorry wrong poster.

No, not that either,
hang on a minute …
just what the hell is Disney selling here?

Ok, this is slightly more along the lines we’re discussing.

I am not interested in subjecting myself to internet foot fetishers, but apparently there’s now quite a push to sexualise the feet.

The porn industry has realized that they can tap into foot fetishisms to help increase their viewer-ship … Finding porn which panders to foot fetishism’s is not difficult … with a mind boggling collection of websites

If you follow the Celtic Rebel‘s work then you will know there ain’t nothing that can’t be marketed & made ‘desirable’.

You may have already found that feet are on the increase

in your line of

Most people tend not to notice feet. They’re far from eye level, often hidden inside shoes or otherwise out of view … Yet not only are there people who do notice feet, it’s quite a big thing for them. And it’s for this very reason that whenever shows feature closeup shots of bare feet, it’s a noticeable occurrence.

In live action, there are numerous reasons actors may be barefoot in a scene … However, there are not nearly as many reasons for the camera to show the feet up close. It gets even more pronounced in animation, especially if there is no plot-related reason for the character’s feet to be bare — the character is barefoot for no other reason than that the creator/director/artist wanted them to be.” (tv tropes)

Anyway I’m side tracking for this is NOT an article for foot-fetishists/persecutors-in-training – in fact I’m hoping you may end up with one or two questions of your own, about why feet have too long been abused.

This post follows on from the recent translation of a long ago personal event.  When blocked from being able to see truth, my body experienced it instead.

As a child, I stood on a needle (which disappeared inside my foot & had to be surgically removed).

Recent translation:  My sole/soul was pierced.

When I went looking for pics to use …

I found this book ;
Examining the mind–body connection in specific relation to the chakras and feet

It added to my understanding, but left me with many questions, so we’re going to take things a few steps further.

Actually.  Fuckit.  We’re gonna take this as far as we can!

The English language is no mere whim of linguistication – damn it spell-checker I know that’s not a word, why won’t you let me make up my own wurds?

What do mean I can’t spell it like that???

Most of us live in English –
we are as submerged in it …

as these fishies in H2O

Now there is no thing haphazard or accidental in the Angelish language – it is an alchemical work of genius.

The character is barefoot [used] for no other reason than that the creator/director/artist wanted them to be

NB –character —n.    a symbol used in a writing system, such as a letter of the alphabet

Here at toolonginthisplace, we’re pretty damn sure (ok, well I am) that the sourcerer code-named Shyster Wakespeare William Shakespeare, had all his fingers in the magicated pie of English.  Perhaps we might think of him as the Master-Chef-come-Commander of the English language.

New words rolled off his pen faster than bikkies off a conveyor belt …

… and nary (a peep out of spell-checker!).  Shakespeare cooked up a phrase …

“Before the game is afoot, thou still let’st slip.” King Henry IV Part I

… that would become one of the hottest selling lines on the Baker’s Street;

Come, Watson, come!” he cried. “The game is afoot. Not a word! Into your clothes and come!

By the bye, did you catch that?  No, no not the naked bit, wash your mind out will you … tho now that you come to mention it…

Damn where was I?

Oh yes – Conning Doyle was obviously a bit of a con-ARThurIST – these word-smiths just can’t seem to resist having their sport with us.

He niftily tucked an old (or new) truth inside this most famous of sentences.  Shall we unpick it?

He said – “The game is afoot. Not a word!”
Action replay … “The game is a foot not a word”
Slow motion “the — game —  [of life?] — IS — [about?] — a — foot, — not — a — word.

Dear God! …

did he mean that in the beginning there was …

noooooooo ….

As humour is the food of life, let’s play on!

The Angelish language has long decreed that the soul is found at the base of the foot, remember …

… this language does not work solely by spelling

sound is also a major key

listen playfully …

… & it will toll you some truths.

Shakespeare wasn’t kidding around when he made sport with the foot a second time;

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game’s afoot
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Henry V. Act III. Scene one

What’s being tolled here?

That the sole (foot) is the soulThe game is to do with the foot –(follow) your soul/spirit – it is to be used to charge at life (instead of cowering)

Soul – The animating and vital principle in humans

It can be no accident that situated upon the boundary of the soul, is the heel – are you hEARing me or are you spelling?

Please play attention!

I said  – the heal;

Trees begin to rot from the roots and aging in Man begins in the feet

Feet have the function for running the blood and energy, communication among internal organs, internal and external communication and adjustment through the upper and lower body.

There are more than 70 acupoints found on human sole & thousands of nerves on the soles are closely related to brain, heart & various organs making it the “second heart.”

Shoes squeeze the foot of your “second heart “.

“the knowledge of curing ailments through stimulation of the feet has been used by many cultures around the world including the Aborigine of Australia, modern Aztec of Mexico, Native Americans, and several cultures of the Middle East.”

One … view says that each of the 7,200 nerve endings in the feet connects to a different area of the body. By direct pressure on specific areas of the foot, we send a stimulation to the corresponding body area.”

Now lets apply a little more hEARing to an under-our-nose sound-clue that has been too long unsung.

fetus … meaning offspring, bringing forth, hatching of young … from the Aryan prefix bheu-, meaning “To come into being“.

A spirit in my feet said go, and I went.”  (Matthew Brady)

~  ~  ~

Would it put a spring in your step to know that each of your feet equates to god?

The human foot has 26 bones

26 is the gematric number of the name of the God of Israel – YHWH

Little wonder then that bared feet are so often called for in pseudo sacred places;

Not only Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists and almost people of all religions will remove their shoes while they pray to God.

God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.

Damn & blast yet another sneaky wordsmith having his sport.

You did spot it?

Any place where you stand is made holy.  It becomes very telling when you realise that the big cheese (aka Yahweh) needed Moses’ feet to charge the ground.

Speaking of the ground, Feet & the number 26;

Iron …  is a chemical element with the symbol Fe (Latin: ferrum) and atomic number 26 … It is the most common element in the whole planet Earth, forming much of Earth’s outer and inner core

Iron has a long and varied tradition in the mythology and folklore of the world. As human blood smells of the iron of which it is largely constituted, and blood in many traditions is equated with the life-force

… so iron and minerals have been considered to be the blood or life-force of the Earth. This relationship is charted further in literature on geomancy, ley lines and songlines

“In Plutarch’s mystical writings, iron and lodestone is referred to the as ‘bone’ or ‘core’ of the gods. Symbolically, iron is the bone, the foundation or the mineral core of both blood and red ochre.”

The magnetism of the iron group of metals is a rare and remarkable property.”

Magnetic fields of influence integrate the universe, earth, and every living creature so that each communicates its rhythmic essence in resonance with all the others…. In Aboriginal terms…magnetism is the voice of the earth’s Dreaming…, a voice to which the Aborigines listen with great care—a voice to which our civilization has become completely deaf.

Never underestimate the value of word play for taking you to unknown places

… here’s a little something I toyed with earlier – along with the finds it prompted …

And We sent down iron, wherein is great violence and advantages to men, and that Allah may know who helps Him and His messengers, unseen.” (Qur’an, 57:25)”

When the supernova explodes, it shoots out carbon, oxygen, and iron atoms all over the Universe, and eventually gravity sucks these atoms into new planets like Earth. All of the iron on Earth was originally inside stars.

Feel free to question just how the wheel of life creation spins – by hand of gods, chance, computer programme, grand design, universal circularity?

Not only the iron on earth, but also the iron in the entire Solar System, comes from outer space, since the temperature in the Sun is inadequate for the formation of iron …  Iron can only be produced in much larger stars than the Sun, where the temperature reaches a few hundred million degrees.”

Or something else?

Iron is a powerful mystery;

Gold is for the mistress — silver for the maid —
Copper for the craftsman cunning at his trade.”
“Good!” said the Baron, sitting in his hall,
But Iron — Cold Iron — is master of them all.”

There’s something important about

& iron
& feet
& falling to earth

But you know what, there’s way too many ideas for one article & my head is doing somersaults …

… so like Zeus’ skull during the birth of Athena, we’re going to have to split this into two.

Lot’s & lots of goodies to come, unless of course, all the smart cookies figure out the recipes & give the games away!

The world’s biggest game is Association Football aka Soccer/Socker, extraordinary feats with feet.

    Ferro sounds like Pharoah

It roots the word ‘farrier’ from Fr. ‘ferrier’ , another word for ‘blacksmith’ who made swords and horseshoes and their nails.

  2. Michael Skaggs replied:

    Heya Alex,

Greetings from the ‘land of peanut butter & chocolate’!

Let me remove my socks, I think I am suffocating here…Ahhh much better. Rubbed a little Burt’s Bee Baby Bee Buttermilk Lotion on them…

Amazing how most things seem to be “stemming” from the tentacles of Religion, or were those symbolic hints from Jesus? I know the book was not meant to be taken “literally”, though some seem to think it is. Hence, trapped in the closed box.

I never gave much thought to my feet, and you know what? You will get a kick out of this…I stepped on a HUGE rusty nail when I was a child (at Memere’s, and I am sure your aware of the symbolism there) that went deep into my foot…a little trip to the hospital and wonderful shots. I also stepped on a poor bee when I was a wee bit older than the nail incident and was stung quite nicely. I think those memories are what keep my shoes on when outside more so than naught…well except on the beach! :)

I do make people take their shoes off here but not barefoot unless they choose so. I’ve not taken very good care of those “gods” until now, when I started to notice how “rough” they were getting due to the mileage I put on them at my white slavery job…approximately 10-13 u.s. miles a night…more miles on my feet than on my truck. So now that I have noticed how sore, dry, and cracked they have been, I have been treating them more kindly with organic and natural lotions, etc.

You really have been “revealing” the hidden conceptions of the English/Angelish language and how the ‘craftsmen’ have been using/abusing it. This alchemical tool has created many misused rifts, waves, and energetic vacuums has it knot? Or should we say nooses! Devilish bastards.

I’ll be curious to see your future endeavors with Iron and all of this! I do not take any sort of iron supplements nor am much of a red meat eater, but I do know iron is essential to good human health. Kudos to your playtime!

    Well done, Cheers!

Your conjuring and weaving of words is no mean feet! The sound of angry boots marchings, Orwells image our future being a boot stamping on our face, you can go on and on. A foot and feet can also be a unit of measurement. And our shoes and boots always have a rubber ‘soul’, to make sure that our connection to the ground is lost.

I don’t want to go off-topic but I saw this article the other day and it grabbed my interest:

‘The suicide of Ruslana Korshunova almost three years ago stunned the world. A beautiful, seemingly happy supermodel, at the peak of her career, the 20-year-old had everything to live for.

Now a filmmaker claims that many clues point to a controversial organisation known as Rose of the World.’

The Rose seems to always connect with everything.

Thanks Mr Moon, I very much like your take on pharoahs – Cairo, I believe translates to Mars – the iron plane-t
“He who knows what iron is, knows the attributes of Mars.
He who knows Mars, knows the qualities of iron. (Paracelsus).

& a little fyi football snippet – “Milton Corrêa Stadium in Macapá, Brazil, has its halfway line positioned exactly over the equator.”

    cheers ironman

    Heya Michael
Thanks for your story – perhaps we should pay very great attention to what happens to our feet & especially the feet of children – wow what a way to ‘hear’, something that might allow for real healing – words & explanations just seem to mess things up so often, but I think the body simply speaks truth.

Take very good care of your feet my friend they just might lead you somewhere wonderful :)

    Very best to you

    Hi Jaspal
The thoughts just start to flow don’t they? :) I never paid any attention to feet before now & it’s amazing to me how much I missed – how much mistreatment & abuse of feet we are trained to accept – yet how totally dependent we are on them. Always it seems we abuse that which has the most to offer us – I do not believe that is an accident.

I have written about Ruslana a few times – Pseudo Occult Media did a post on her when it happened – for me her likeness to Rapunzel was stunning – the name ‘Rose of the World’ brings up instant feelings of fairy stories – but then again I have to remember that all the world’s a stage & props are rarely what they seem – the rose has done a lot of propping up.

    very best to you

Consider the link that feet have to fetal tissue. What about connecting feet to earth, an important energy link.
Could babies be healthier, their instincts once born are
to rid their feet from the any form of footwear. Might
there be a lesson to us all of the benefits of naked feet.

Cities covered in concrete, gravel, asphalt, not to mention broken bits of civilization’s detritus does all
it can to discourage foot to earth contact. Maybe shod
feet are more easily sent to war. Certainly the arch has been usurped from the foot as an archer. Feet have many
uses as witnessed in callouses (see all uses). When the battle is lost you’re defeated.

Feet are sensory tools, like the hands, they’re better when left uncovered.

Barefoot play is the best. Thanks for allowing this footnote. Hope I didn’t run too long in this place.

  6. Jon Kidd replied:

    Love it!

I like how Ironmoon mentions Soccer as I was thinking about Bob Marley while reading this. About his death. Playing soccer stepping on a rusty nail. Getting melanoma and refusing amputation cause of Rasta beliefs. Rasta being very biblical and Marley being viewed as a messiah of sorts. He found out about the cancer in 1977.(an interesting year for me )

Reminds me of the first ‘prophecy’ of the bible.

    Genesis 3:15

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”.

I was told(by JehovahDubyahs) that the woman is TRUE Christianity and that Satan is the serpents HEAD and The HEEL is Jesus’.

I don’t know what to think about the ‘prophecy’ except a few of the words kinda pop out. The Jdubs said that in the final days Christ will inflict a death blow via head crushing. Which means Satan will not be back. Meh.

another great post Alex :) The more “elevated” we are, shoes, ego, whatever, the further we are from the source … Abraço!

  8. alex robinson replied:

Hi Tom, I heartedly agree – bare feet play is best! – in fact I’m quite sure unshoed feet allow for a special kind of connection between people, like sharing a meal – perhaps toes can talk & soles/souls can connect – perhaps honesty is far more likely when the sole/soul is bared.

& yes I do think souls are all to do with earth connection – that is part of the next part :)

    very best to you

Mr Kidd you are a wiz – that is amazing info of the prophetic kind – I have to think & think some more on it – I have a nifty pic to go with that – the JC bit could get a bit tricky, but what the heck – we’ll cross that soul bridge when we get to it.

I tell you I get concerned about the rotational device of our world – much as I can appreciate the idea that end times leads (apparently) to golden times I keep noticing that the same line of bastards are re-inserted also – am not keen on a repeat performance – Will JC’s feet stand up to the job with them holey souls? Does the Satin One wear a helmet? All this & more will be answered on, or not, at a time specified, or not … ah fuckit – just be happy & let your souls breathe!

Very best to you & the souls of all the kidds

Obrigada Paulo, exactly so – will be expanding on that in the next installment!
    Hugs to you too :)

Nice one on the Equatorial sta. and the Bob marley connexion , JK. Football also had something to do with Winnie Mandela and the death of Stompie Moeketsi [ Mandela United FC].

Also in Daniel [ bible] theres something about a statue and I think it has iron feet.

    Foot = Toof [ Tooth]
Feet = Teef [ Teeth and Thief]

Of course ‘feet’ does bring in a whole load of cobblers :)

Thanks for the biblical reminder – it was a dream Daniel told to Mr. Endbud Kadnezir.

So let me get this straight – you’re suggesting that toof fairies are teefs? :) …….. some time later … ok! I see Jon has stolen the show with his quote – I concede de-feet.

Mick, thanks for the musical ensemble – I do hope this means that your (bare) toes are a-tapping :)

  14. Mat replied:

Very interesting. I’m one of those people you might call a foot fetishist. Granted, I wouldn’t give it up, but how much of it came from stupid bits on Sesame Street and the Electric Company?

  15. alex robinson replied:

Hi Mat, thanks for your honesty & your ability to question – sometimes to get perspective I try to imagine how a particular topic would be treated by an un-civilised people i.e people living among nature & never exposed to programming – I just don’t think feet would ever be considered sexual – perhaps the natural stimulation of barefoot walking or contact allowed to the earth thro’ natural footwear would satisfy – is the new drive towards fetishism the result of the denial of connection to earth – creating a hunger, that is then detoured down a crafted route? I’m only now starting to notice how often feet pop up in movies.

    All the best

  16. Mat replied:

Here’s another thought on this topic: very few people are neutral on the subject of feet. People seem to either love them too much or irrationally hate them. This ties in nicely to a recent article I read about the importance of grounding. Perhaps the “fetish” arises from the fact that most of us in western “civilization” keep these important appendages trapped in leather coffins all day. Perhaps the hatred comes from an unconscious hatred of one’s own sole/soul. I remember reading somewhere that Marilyn Monroe didn’t like having the soles of her feet photographed because it made her feel vulnerable. A fascinating topic. Thanks for writing this article.

  17. alex robinson replied:

Hi Mat – many thanks for those thoughts – the Marilyn info is fabulous!
Yes I think grounding has a huge part to play – I’ve actually got ‘bootfuls’ more to come – just got detoured down a little sidetrack – however the feet shall have their day before too long!

    Very best to you
