Breaking away

Time for a change of scenery.

For your viewing pleasure
I present some images
from my recent weekend away.

I’ve included some unplanned blurry ones,
as they still paint a picture.

Tauranga beach …

on a misty day

Giant rocks …

& rocky dwarf

Sea clouds …

& cirrus rocks

A thousand & one shells

Swollen seas …

protuberant trees

Walk …

… ways

Cruising rivers …

… flexible ferns

and curving waters

cheers

Aha! Rivers are sea-ms on land.

Some of the blurry shots work out well, also taking photos at night without a flash.

    cheers

    Thanks Michael!
Glad to shine some light your way – even tho’ it is wintery :)
    Be well

Well word-played Mr Moon – I haven’t tried night shots – will give that a go. I can’t take all the credit for the blurry shots, the pterodactyl in the camera seems to go ape from time to time – never know whether I’ll get blur or not – mind you, as I’m short-sighted it does give a very good rendition of life on the blurred side.

    cheers

Wow…deja vu. I think I walked across this bridge in 1977.
I’m going to have to dig out the old photo albums, and see if I can find that shot.
It was the only time that I’ve been outside of Australia…those 10 days in August 1977.

    Hi Darren,
    If your deja -vu is on the mark, you were in Karangahake Gorge;

That’s a very long time without travel, perhaps the deja vu is a gentle nudge to pack a suitcase :)

    Very best to you

Ah the mount. And the deep green and the ragged shore, nature is not done with it yet, always toiling away. She’s not done with us neither. Thanks for the balm, Good Sister.
